Jewellery Making is A great day out with a friend, enjoy using your own ideas to create a set of jewellery pieces.

You can enjoy lunch and refreshments in between working on your projects.

You will have sufficient silver to make a pair of earrings, a pendant, a ring and a bangle. using techniques demonstrated in the studio such as rolling and stamping patterns, cutting shapes and hammering textures.

You will use a solder torch to join metals together securely and permanently.

There is no need for any prior knowledge to attend this workshop but it is popular with the experienced and inexperienced alike.

Bring pictures of your inspiration to be turned into jewellery pieces.

Health and safety is important  it is advisable to wear closed in shoes, old clothes and tie your hair back as you will be using machinery, leather pinnies, goggles et will be provided.

Come to the Midastouch Studio and make your own jewellery with a friend, No experience is required as all tuition will be provided.
The day includes sufficient silver to make earrings, a ring, a bracelet and a pendant. Additional silver can be purchased on the day, if required.

You will:
Identify safety precautions necessary when making jewellery
identify possible tools for jewellery making
Use own ideas and resource books to design own pieces of jewellery
Practice cutting metals; Soldering; stamping; punching; rolling;
All the sample pieces can then be made into your jewellery.
